It was founded by Himanshu Vora - a screenwriter, director and thinker.

The name Breathing Pictures came into thought was because Himanshu literally breathes pictures everyday and he sees life day to day in that regards. Every moving moment of life is breathing pictures for him. After many names thought for the production house, finally Breathing Pictures was the best name which was then finalized.

The goal of Breathing Pictures is to make world class films or shows in whatever format or genre. Be it in live action fiction or animation or television or documentary or music videos or web based videos or mobile films or commercials.

Himanshu Vora is a very creatively inclined person. He loves anything to do with art or creativity or entertainment. He loves to tell stories through the medium of motion pictures. It's the passion for cinema that he is really striving every breath of his life now. He loves cinema and art and the works than anything else. His heart beats every moment for the creation of beautiful and some wonderful cinema. His first love for animation films and cartoons is also his passion for which he is creating something in the coming future. He is on a mission to make 77 films before he dies. He'd love to die on a movie set or in a post production studio! He'd love to be remembered as a good contribution to the Indian cinema to the world. And he believes that one day Breathing Pictures will become one of the leading production house in India and the entire world. As he believes, Breathing Pictures is making cinema for the entire world and not only India.
